Glicopia Kobe (グリコピア神戸) is the factory of Ezaki Glico Company which is one of the major confectionery makers in Japan which located in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.
The main products make at this factory are Pocky and Plitz.
Here we can see the Pocky and Plitz production lines.
The factory tour is held in Japanese, so please go with a guide who can speak Japanese.

Video viewing
The factory tour begins with a video viewing.
It is about 10-minute video summarizing the history of Glico.
Old vending machine and history
After watching the video, the staff will give a lecture on the history of Glico’s old vending machines.
This vending machine is about 90 years old and has a mechanism that allows you to play a short video when you purchase a product.
We will go to the factory tour after receiving the lecture.
The passageway at the entrance of the factory tour has a Pocky shape. 🙂
Pocky / Pretz Factory
We are prohibited from taking photographs during the factory tour.
We were able to see the factory scenery like the youtube video above.
Digital cooking
After the factory tour, we will experience digital cooking.
We are able to arrange a Pocky or Visco design displayed on the digital and our designs can be displayed on the web as illustration cards.
Bisco handmade experience (at extra cost)
Visco handmade experience is a paid option.
With this experience, we can make Bisco, one of Glico’s products.
Glico Museum
Glico Museum displays Glico History Panel and past Glico bonuses.
There is also a commemorative photo spot here.
Souvenir shop
There is a souvenir shop on the first floor of the factory.
We also get some free souvenirs.

How to get to Glicopia Kobe
Nearest station is Kobe City Subway Seishin-Yamate Line Seishin-chuo Station.
Because the destination is far from the station, please use a bus or taxi.

1. Please confirm that Shinki has buses at Bus Stop 10 [12:40 and 13:40 Shinki Bus Bound for Oshibedani]? What is the bus number? Shinki website showed no service from 13:00 to 16:00.
2. Do I go to the same bus stop when I reach Glicopia to take and return at 15:27 Shinki Bus Bound for Seishin-chuo] back to subway? What is the bus number?

Bus number bound for 押部谷(栄)(Oshibedani(Sakae)) is 70 , 73 , 74 , 76.
2.
The same bus stop 高塚台1丁目(Takatsuka-dai 1-chome).
But return bus stop may be across the road.
