Konan Sanzan (The Three Great Temples of Konan City) is the generic name for the three temples which have a national treasure in Konan City, Shiga Prefecture.
These are the Tendai Buddhist temples related to Hieizan Enryaku-ji Temple (比叡山延暦寺).
About Konan Sanzan
Joraku-ji Temple (常楽寺), Chojyu-ji Temple (長寿寺) and Zensui-ji Temple (善水寺), The three Tendai Sect temples with long history in Konan City, are known as the “Konan Sanzan (湖南三山).”
These temples have the building of the national treasure.
The precincts of these temples are also known as a famous spot for autumn leaves in Shiga Prefecture.
