The Takeda Castle Ruins trace has another name called ”Castle in the sky” and “Machu Picchu of Japan”.
In Takeda Castle Ruins, you can see the superb view of a sea of clouds in early morning in winter and can see beautiful cherry tree in spring.
The building of the castle disappear by a fight called “Battle of Sekigahara”, and it does not exist anymore.
However, you can remember those days because a base and the stone wall of the castle are left as those days.

5.Access method (On foot)
There are three walking routes to the Takeda Castle Ruins.
Because one of the route named “Hyomai Shrine Trail” is very steep, I will introduce the other 2 route.
●Route1:Trail of the backside of the station
It is a route to climb from the mountain trail in the backside of Takeda Station.[Distance:about 1.5 km/Time required:about 30 min ~ 40 min]
Because this route is a little steep, I recommend that you go from bus/taxi or the south mountain trail on a rainy day.
●Route2:South mountain trail
This route is a route to climb from the south side of the mountain.[Distance:about 3 km/Time required:about 60 min ~ 90 min]
