3.Factory tour report
This time, I participated in “Lecture of “The Premium Malts” (About 90 min)”.
By the way, you can’t do recording and video recording, but can take a picture.
Firstly you attend a lecture in this room.(There is not this lecture in normal guided tour.)
The seat is appointed. You receive a guest card and a pamphlet here.
Sampling of special malt used for premium malts called “diamond malt” is possible.
You go to the tour of the plant if you finish hearing the lecture of about 30 minutes.
Beer manufacturing process is divided into five steps of “Material”, “Preparation”, “Fermentation”, “Storage”, “Filtration”.
You can know the water, malt and hops which are raw materials of the beer.
There is a lot of training pots made by very big stainless steel.
This is the tank storing up beer made of the primary fermentation. Perform second fermentation here.
I can drink delicious beer thanks to the daily effort of the beer brewer. (○´艸`)
Filtration facilities of the beer seem to be totally mazes. (*゚v゚*)
This is the facilities which fill up a can with the beer that filtration was finished. These facilities turn at high speed. (○´艸`)
There were a lot of beer-barrels in the backyard. You come back to the original spot by bus from here.
The next is time for tasting!! I’ve been waiting for this time!!
Tasting of three kinds of “Premium Malts”(Normal, Ale beer, Masters Dream) is possible. d(*゚ー゚*)
I was able to feel the difference of taste and fragrance.
